Dental practises are pervasive in today’s cities and villages. However, there are only a few that give high-quality care at an inexpensive price. Dr.Smilez Dental Center, for example, is a chain of clinics located throughout Chennai and Pondicherry. They employ over 100 highly skilled dental surgeons and award-winning physicians. As an established business, they desired to expand, connect with new consumers, and accelerate growth. The tried and true methods of newspaper advertisements, television commercials, referrals, and word of mouth were falling short of the ambitious objective they had set for themselves — their mission is to reach 320000 smiles each year! When they reached us in December 2020, their mission became BLeap’s mission.

We began with strategic social media advertising. While creating a Facebook ad campaign is very straightforward, it must accomplish its intended objective. To begin, we needed to develop a strategy that was both cost effective and delivered maximum value. We had a clear objective and pursued it with a straightforward method. Because targeting markets other than the target market could be inefficient, we carefully researched and examined particular variables — Our target market would be residents of and visitors to Chennai & Pondicherry, who fall into specific age groups depending on the level of creativity employed, who speak Tamil or English (both languages are widely spoken in the region), and who have an interest in dental care, cosmetics, and tooth repairs, among other things.
We launched the campaign in December ’20 on a shoestring budget of 1000 INR and promptly reached 87,000 users. Regrettably, it generated no strong leads. We realised we needed to rethink our approach in order to see some positive results, and we did exactly that. By January 2021, we had increased our expenditure to approximately 6000 INR, but our reach had increased to an incredible 3,00,000. At the conclusion of the period, 15 clients had traversed the funnel. Additionally, an estimated 70,000 people would recall seeing the advertisement within two days. Thus, there is still a probability that they may recall the Dr.Smilez brand in the future and thus convert into a potential customer. Additionally, we engaged with Facebook users on a daily basis via posts, videos, and educational information that drew their attention.

Simultaneously, we conducted Search Engine Marketing initiatives to help Dr.Smilez expand its consumer base. We set out to market the business by placing paid adverts on search engine results pages (SERPs) such as Google. As part of our keyword management strategy, we began with extensive research. We identified keywords that are pertinent to Dr. Smilez’s business and that prospective clients are likely to use when searching for their services, such as “Dental,” “Tooth,” “Clinic,” and “Chennai,” among others. Additionally, we produced essential negative keywords with a high degree of commercial purpose. Following it, text and graphic advertisements were created. We consequently positioned our CPC Bid. Finally, we were all prepared to enter the real world.
In December 2020, the prices were approximately 11,000 INR, and the ads were displayed (impressions) over 10,000 times in the SERP. 750 individuals clicked on the advertisement, and the ultimate conversion rate was 8. We certainly needed a push, so in January 2021, we boosted the budget to roughly 22,000 INR and saw a rise in impressions to around 12,000, which was encouraging. Finally, in February, we stepped it up a notch and allocated 24000 INR, which resulted in some fantastic results — over 50,000 impressions, over 2000 engagements, and 40 conversions. That meant that 40 dental appointments with Dr.Smilez were nearly certain. Additionally, the cost per click decreased from 14.6 in December to 10.6 in February of this year.
Paid advertising on social networking networks and search engines may be fairly challenging. Increased advertising budget does not ensure increased visibility and conversions.
